WHY SBXC Justify?

An equity research report is a document prepared by an equity analyst that provides a recommendation on whether investors should buy, hold, or sell shares of a public company. An equity research report provides an overview of the business, the investment thesis, the industry it operates in, the management team, financial analysis of the firm's performance, modeled financial performance, risk factors, relative valuation, technicals, and the target price.

Similarly, a bond research report is a document prepared by a credit analyst that provides a recommendation on whether investors should buy, hold, or sell publicly traded bonds issued by a company. Much like an equity research report, a bond research report provides an overview of the borrower, the industry it operates in, the management team, financial analysis of the firm's performance, modeled financial performance with an emphasis on cash flow, risk factors, relative valuation, embedded options, bond statistics, and recommendations. Higher coverage on shares and bond issues shall bring in the following benefits.

  1. Increased Liquidity
Liquidity is a significant concept to investing and it describes the ability to liquidate an asset for cash quickly and without significant cost. Should an asset be illiquid, investors looking to sell their holdings may have to wait an extended period for a willing buyer or sell their holdings immediately at a significant discount. Therefore, investors tend to avoid illiquid assets, and when the shares and bond issues do not receive sufficient coverage, it may adversely impact the firm's fundraising effort.

  2. Drive Sales and Commissions
Analyst coverage can generate interest in shares and bond issues, which will translate to higher trading activities and better liquidity for investors, resulting in more sales and commissions for financial institutions and brokerages.

  3. Quality Financial and Investment Advices
For investment and financial advisers, equity and bond research reports can help add credence and substantiate your financial recommendations. That way, you can provide more thoroughly researched and higher quality financial advisory solutions for your clients/
